IGEN Students Explore NUANCE Facilities During Fall Tour
On September 26, 2025, NUANCE welcomed participants from the Introduction to Graduate Education at Northwestern (IGEN) program for a guided tour of its state-of-the-art research facilities. The visit offered students an inside look at the advanced instrumentation and collaborative environment that support materials and nanoscience research at Northwestern.
The tour was led by Kelly Matuszewski, a graduate student from the Dravid Group, who introduced the visitors to several core facilities within NUANCE and discussed how researchers utilize these tools to investigate materials at the nanoscale.
Through the tour, IGEN students gained valuable insight into the resources available to Northwestern students, researchers, and the interdisciplinary nature of work conducted at NUANCE.
