Quantitative Biomechanical Analysis to Enable Life Changing Discoveries

The Bruker Hysitron Biosoft Indenter provides a unique combination of force sensitivity and displacement range to measure biological specimens from the sub-cellular to tissue level. This portable system integrates with inverted optical microscope to bring biomechanical testing capabilities in the SPID facility.  It synchronizes powerful mechanical and optical characterization techniques and allows open platform for fluidic and environmental control.
