University of Tokyo Students Visit NUANCE

On Tuesday, February 27th, NUANCE was host to a group of visiting students from the University of Tokyo. The students traveled from Tokyo to Evanston as a part of the Materials Education Program for the Future Leaders in Research, Industry, and Technology (MERIT), a special graduate program offered by the University of Tokyo. The program is specifically designed to produce doctoral graduates with a keen interest and capability in developing a sustainable society for future generations. By visiting the facilities of NUANCE, the students were able to witness nanoscale characterization and experimentation in action and apply it to their own studies in Tokyo. The students enjoyed every minute of their time at Northwestern and the staff of NUANCE was delighted to have them over for a visit.
