Bruker BioScope Catalyst

brukerbioscope

The BioScope Catalyst Atomi Force Microscope (AFM) from Bruker Inc. was upgraded with Bioscope II in NIFTI facility on Sept. 21, 2011. The upgraded system is integrated with ScanAsyst which provides uncompromised high-resolution optical imaging capability and thermally limited force measurements and features numerous hardware and software features that make it easier than ever to realize the unique benefits of combining atomic force microscopy and light microscopy. Bruker's exclusive Microscope Image Registration and Overlay (MIRO) feature automatically imports and rescales light microscope i mages, allowing them to be used to direct the location of AFM imaging and force measurements, and the Perfusing Stage Incubator accessory maintains ideal cell culture conditions for long-duration live cell studies. With its open-access design, unique integration software, and bio-friendly features and accessories, the BioScope Catalyst is the highest performance, most completely integrated, easiest to use life science AFM imaging system. It is now open to users.

Bruker Multimode 8

brukermultimode8

The Multimode 8 Atomic Force Microscope from Bruker Inc. was installed in NIFTI facility on Sept. 22. It is upgraded with Multimode V. Multimode V system in NIFTI was serving many users for their high resolution needs along with advanced microscopy capabilities. The MultiMode 8 AFM system incorporates surprising new features and accessories that take the distinguished MultiMode Atomic Force Microscope platform to even higher levels of performance, speed, and ease of use. The system is integrated with state-of-the-art rigid mechanical design and state of the art low-noise, high-bandwidth NanoScope V controller electronics combine to enable ultra-high resolution and revolutionary imaging modes like ScanAsyst, ScanAsyst-HR and PeakForce QNM. Peak Force Tapping technology enables exceedingly low tip-sample interaction forces— even lower than was possible with TappingMode. The system is also integrated with heating and cooling capabilities.
