Hitachi High Technologies (HHT) and Northwestern University's NUANCE Center are holding a one-day focused workshop on "Microscopy of Soft and Hybrid Materials" on Monday, October 25, 2010, at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. Organized as a part of the NUANCE Center's "A Decade of Excellence" initiative, the primary purpose of the workshop is to review progress in, and prospects for, the emerging field of microscopy of soft and hybrid materials, and to provide an informative, intellectually stimulating and mutually beneficial forum on the topics. Sessions are on the topics of Cryo SEM; Cryo STEM; Analytical STEM; and Xray Scattering.
The workshop will be held at Northwestern University's James L. Allen Center Tribune Auditorium, 2169 Campus Drive (see campus map) and will feature the following Invited Speakers:
